Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Madlan LLC ("ProjexHQ," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ProjexHQ web and mobile applications and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide:

• Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Workspace content — the project management data you and your team create or upload, including projects, programs, portfolios, tasks, schedules, risks, issues, change requests, budgets, resources, comments, and documents or files (which may include images) you upload.
• Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support.

Payment information: If you purchase a subscription (on our website), your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card number; we retain only limited billing details and subscription status.

Information collected automatically:

• Basic technical and log data needed to operate and secure the Service (e.g., IP address, browser or device type, and timestamps).
• On-device storage used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
• We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

Push notification token: If you enable notifications in the mobile app, we collect a device push token so we can deliver notifications to your device. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

2. How we use information

We use information to: provide, operate, and maintain the Service; authenticate you and secure your account; store and display the content you create; send transactional emails (e.g., invitations, password resets, notifications); process subscriptions; respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under our instructions:

• Supabase — application hosting, database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — subscription and payment processing (web).
• Resend / Amazon SES — sending transactional email.
• Netlify — hosting of our websites.
• Apple Push Notification service / Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivering push notifications.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.

4. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and workspace content, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or security obligations.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights in-app or by contacting us (Section 9).

6. Account and data deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account cancels any active subscription and removes your personal data and workspace content, subject to the limited retention described in Section 4.

7. Security

We protect your information using encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.

8. International users

The Service is operated from the United States and your information may be processed there. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Effective date" above. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app.
