Everything you need to get up and running with ProjexHQ — the AI-driven platform for managing projects, programs, and portfolios.

Getting started

1. Sign in. Open the web app at app.projexhq.com (or start a free 14-day trial — no credit card required).
2. Create your first project. Give it a name, methodology (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid), dates, and an owner. You can size it and assign it to a program or portfolio at any time.
3. Build your plan. Add a work breakdown structure on the Schedule tab, set dependencies, and capture your budget and resources.
4. Track and report. Log risks, issues, changes, decisions, and action items, then generate board-ready reports in a click.

Core concepts

ProjexHQ organizes work as a hierarchy: Projects → Programs → Portfolios. Health, budget, and progress roll up automatically, so leaders get a live picture without chasing status.

Key areas

• Dashboard — portfolio health, budget, performance indices (CPI/SPI), and status charts at a glance.
• Schedule — work breakdown structures, dependencies, critical path, and baselines to track variance.
• Budget — approved vs. actuals, Earned Value Management, and CapEx/OpEx classification.
• Resources — capacity planning with a utilization heat map, cost, and availability.
• RAID Log — risks, issues, changes, decisions, and action items in one governance register.
• Reports & AI Briefings — portfolio, change & decision, risk, and utilization reports, plus AI-generated executive briefings.

Methodologies

ProjexHQ supports Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery. Choose a methodology per project; the tooling and reporting adapt accordingly.

Mobile

ProjexHQ runs in any modern browser, on iPhone and iPad via the App Store, and on Android via Google Play. Your workspace stays in sync across devices.
